Jilin Oilfield Company (Hereinafter referred to as the Company) is the regional branch of PetroChina. It is headquartered in Songyuan city of Jilin province, and the exploratory and development area covers 37 cities and counties(regions). Jilin oilfield was discovered on Sep. 29, 1959 and developed on Jan. 17, 1961. The Company now has  33.9 thousand employees. Many national and provincial key research projects have been undertaken in Jilin oilfield company. The Company also makes efforts to develop technologies with Jilin oilfield characteristics. Many of the Company’s technologies are taking the lead in China including subtle reservoir geology, oilfield development with low production, low permeability and low abundance, CO2 flooding and storage, horizontal wells volume frac, and shallow-depth large platform horizontal wells.
