CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company Limited （abbreviated as CCDC or Chuanqing） is one of the five major drilling companies of China National Petroleum Corporation, mainly engaged in drilling engineering, mud logging, cementing, reservoir reconstruction, workover and oil & gas cooperative development. With 60 years of  exploration and development, CCDC’s oil and gas drilling & engineering technology system, technical standards and overall technical level are in the leading position domestically, and natural gas exploration and development engineering technology ranks first in China. CCDC’s footprints are mainly in Southwest oil and gas fields, Changqing Oilfield, and Tarim Oilfield in China and overseas such as Turkmenistan, Pakistan and Ecuador, etc. Over the years, CCDC has fully supported the increase of oil and gas fields’ production. In Sichuan and Chongqing area, CCDC has jointly promoted the construction of a 30-BCM gas province and shale gas pilot project with CNPC Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company. In Changqing area, as the main force of engineering technology, CCDC has supported Changqing Oilfield to rapidly increase output and maintain production at 60 million tons, and build the largest existing oil and gas field in China. In Xinjiang, a number of "first-class" wells and key discovery wells have been drilled around key areas such as Tazhong, Tabei, Kuqa Piedmont and northern Xinjiang. In Turkmenistan, the production capacity construction on the right bank of Amu Darya River and the 10 billion EPC project in South Yolotan have been efficiently completed.
